A new development for 2022 is the Community Grants Program, open for applications from 22 March to 2 May 2022.

SA Power Networks has operated a sponsorship program since 1995 which supports community groups, projects, events and programs that are ethically and socially responsible and which raise awareness of our role and our commitment to South Australians.

Working to the Strategic Direction, the team reviewed the program to see how sponsorships could create even greater alignment with SA Power Networks’ key focus areas and continue to provide specific values to the South Australian community.

The refreshed program seeks to empower activities, programs or events which will help make a positive impact in South Australia in one or more of the following areas:

• Keeping the community safe
• Supporting our customers and community
• Growing a sustainable SA
• Supporting innovation for future growth

New Community Grants Program

A new development for 2022 is the Community Grants Program. The program welcomes applications from organisations, registered charities, schools or community groups who are seeking support of up to $5,000.

The simplified application form asks community groups to apply with projects responding to one or more of the areas above and will be assessed by a panel with representatives from sponsorship, environment, network management and an external customer representative.
Applications are open now and will close 5pm, Monday 2 May 2022 ACST.
