Powerline for Electricians – Accelerated Training Program

Our two-year accelerated training program is designed to provide a comprehensive qualification that encompasses the installation, maintenance, and inspection of distribution poles, structures, overhead apparatus, conductors, cables, and associated hardware. 

It also covers jointing and termination of underground cables and services, as well as high and low voltage switching.

Upon completion of this program, you will have gained the necessary skills and knowledge to work as a distribution Powerline Worker.

Positions available in various locations

Positions are available in our following metro and regional depots for a January 8, 2024, start date:

• Metro South (Marleston, Morphett Vale)
• Metro North (Elizabeth, Holden Hill, Wingfield)
• Ceduna
• Whyalla
• Wudinna
