A vibrant transformation in the City of Port Adelaide Enfield
As part of our partnership with Helpmann Academy, we are excited to announce the Stobie Pole Project for 2023, which launched on Thursday 28 September at the stunning Beefacres Reserve in Windsor Gardens.
Over the past six months, four emerging South Australian artists – Abby Pumpa, Anna Revesz, Ellis Moseley and Alice Hu – have worked with lead artist and mentor Seb Humphreys to create a series of public artworks to transform selected Stobie poles around the City of Port Adelaide Enfield.
While many Stobie poles around the state have long been decorated by locals, this is our second year supporting the Stobie Pole Project as a formal partnership with Helpmann Academy.
We’re proud that this program creates opportunities for emerging artists to hone their craft and contribute to making our streets brighter and more colourful.
The artwork can be found on Stobie poles in the Beefacres Reserve in Windsor Gardens, located at 14 Pittwater Dr, Windsor Gardens and is expected to remain in place for at least two years.
As part of a separate initiative, community members wanting to brighten up their local Stobie poles can find out how to apply.
