We're proud to have partnered with History Trust of South Australia to deliver the 2024 History Festival, which this year is themed 'POWER'.

The festival kicks off on 1 May and runs until 31 May. The alignment has been fantastic and coincides with the 100th anniversary of the iconic Stobie pole this year.

We're excited to host 250 members of the public for tours of our Angle Park pole manufacturing facility. Led by Brian Docking, who’s been with SA Power Networks for 46 years (33 of those in pole construction). The tickets to these free tours have quickly been snapped up.

Brian is also among the 100 South Australians featured in the "Portraits of Power" campaign, part of the History Festival’s program and our partnership this year. This initiative captures 100 unique perspectives on power, in a free-to-view outdoor exhibition showcased on Stobie poles across the state.
