Customers may experience delays getting power restored.

The storm activity caused damage and power outages across the state, but we have made good progress on a statewide level - getting outages at 6pm last night of about 28,000 properties down to under 10,000 this morning.

Lightning activity has slowed from a peak of 400 strikes per minute overnight and we recorded a total of around 250,000 lightning strikes.

There are still significant outages in the Mid-North and other areas of the State due to impacts on our network and ElectraNet’s.

Our crews are working to restore power safely, as soon as possible. Please prepare for extended outages and we will update you via SMS and our website when more information is available.
