SA Power Networks wins Sustainability Impact Award

Announced at Schneider's Innovation Summit in Sydney, the group's Sustainability Impact Awards celebrate businesses leading the way in decarbonisation, energy efficiency, and sustainable transformation.
This year, SA Power Networks was among the winners, acknowledged for our commitment to innovation and environmental stewardship across the business.
“This year’s award winners – SA Power Networks, WaterNSW, Datacom, and UPS Power Solutions – exemplify how connecting innovation and collaboration can accelerate the energy transition and contribute to raising sustainability benchmarks in the region,” said Schneider Electric’s Pacific Zone President Colette Munro.
This year’s selection criteria highlighted companies turning their ambition into action, honing in on net-zero targets, electrification, and digitisation.
For SA Power Networks, this included our work with Schneider on implementing SF6-free switchgear, DERMS system for managing consumer energy resources, and the software development work currently underway in the Energy Masters trial.
The judging panel praised SA Power Networks’ progressive efforts to accelerate South Australia’s renewable energy transition, saying our business is at the forefront of enhancing grid stability and sustainability.
